Cake

Everyone loves cake. I love chocolate cake! Just took this photo today ;)

THERMITE!!

Just watched my chemistry professor light thermite in class as a demonstration of hetergenous exothermic reactions.

Blue sparks, thick smoke, and dripping lava-hot iron.

Chemistry ain't so bad at the university level, eh?

Video is of the same room/contraption, but different professor/class. I think this was a few years ago at UCSD.

HAMSTER?!

I'm thinking about getting another hamster as a pet (and model for my photography hobbies), and I would like to know what you guys think. Is 20 too old to own a hamster? Do you guys have hamsters?

Tell me your stories, and I promise I'll share mine ;)

RayBan Glasses?

What do you guys think about aviator style sunglasses? Are they too commonplace, hipster, and de rigueur? I've been thinking about getting a pair of Ray Ban's for myself this holiday season, and I'd love to hear what my followers think about them!

Summer Overture-Requiem for a Dream(Soundtrack)

A great piece from the film Requiem for a Dream. If you haven't caught it yet, make sure you watch it! It's one of the best films of its genre, and I'd watch it again and again :)

I AM BACK!

Finally back from a long hiatus of moving to a new apartment. I spent plenty of time unpacking and arranging my stuff around. But now I'm finally back and online, and the internet is zippy and fast. I don't have a router yet, and am only directly connected to the modem. That means I'll be on my laptop less often until I get one.

Anyways, thanks for stopping by, and I'll update with another post soon!

How Inception Should Have Ended

So hilarious ;) Inception was great, but as soon as it came out it needed to have a parody. SNL would make it so much enjoyable ;)

ALPACAAAAA

Don't you think alpacas are cute?? ^^

pink panther - i would like to buy a hamburger

Probably not his best movie, but certainly another performance. Genius is hard to find ;)
